Come on Passport!!!

We are diligently praying for Isaiah's passport to come in! The Congo passport office is extremely slow and this is the only thing holding us up for making our Embassy Appointment in order to have our Visa's processed... I am reminded of the anticipation of childbirth. In the last month, there is excitement, apprehension, some healthy fears, but most of all, pure love for the child you will soon welcome into your lives. We have hit our 18th month since beginning this process. Yes, I would HATE to be pregnant for 18 months! So, in this respect, adoption is much much harder (I can say this since I did go through 3 pregnancies). And in a similar respect, we have no idea if our son will embrace us, fear us, or reject us. That is where pure trust comes in. God has asked us to adopt our son, so we must trust Him to prepare his heart for us... as we draw closer, we also must think about our journey across thousands of miles to receive our son into our lives. Yes, there will be danger, yes, there will be nerves going crazy, yes, there will be adrenaline rushing, and yes, there will be pure exhaustion! But we would not want it to be any other way! God is preparing the way for His name to be glorified! It should be an event of full-blown emotion! One of His orphans is coming HOME!!!! Hallelujah!!! We will give Him all praise and honor and glory!!! For the great things He has done!!! Join with us in bringing glory to His name!!!
